DestinWorld Publishing are looking for writers to pen books on aviation topics. Could you be one of our future authors?
What We Want
We will consider your pitches for books on aviation topics, both civil and military, whether covering a single topic, or a more generalised subject matter. We are also looking for authors of travel and history books.
Our authors work on a royalty basis, and are encouraged to stick with their books over many years and many editions.
Requirements
The main requirements we have of our authors is a good idea for a book subject, passion and enthusiasm for that subject, and an ability to research and prepare good content and written work.
You will need to be precise, up-to-date and thorough in your books, and have a good understanding of the subject area.
Getting Published
You need to provide some good reasoning behind the subject of your book, why we should publish it, and why you should be the one to write it. Original topics, or unique angles on existing topics, will attract us much more than simple another book entitled Boeing 747, for example.
Once we have agreed on your book, the next stage is to get it to print. We will work with you on getting your script edited and laid out, and all design work will be done for you.
What to Do Next
If you would like to pitch your book idea to us, send us a cover note plus details of the book, including: proposed title, brief summary, proposed sections or chapters, and a bit about your knowledge of the subject.
